Abstract

Punjabi Adab is a three-monthly Journal published by Punjabi Adabi Board since March 1987. This journal has made significant contribution in the fields of Punjabi language, literature, linguistics and culture over the past 3.5 decades. By consistently publishing high quality poetry, prose, research articles, reviews and literary interviews, this journal has provided of platform for the dissemination of innovations in the field of Punjabi language. This research paper will examine its role in promotion of Punjabi language and literature by introducing “Punjabi Adab”. This Journal has not only impacted the above-mentioned fields but also contributed to the academic community by promoting the broader dissemination of knowledge.
